Fire Wand Construction
The Fire Wand is the ritual implement associated with the Element of Fire. It is used for controlling both the Element of Fire and the Life Force of the magician.
To construct the Fire Wand, obtain a wooden dowel of any desired length. I recommend either Bloodwood or Dogwood, although many other woods are suitable. A practical length is approximately equal to the distance from your elbow to the tip of your middle finger.
If desired, attach a piece of Preseli Bluestone to the top of the wand. The stone should be slightly larger than the diameter of the wand and should not be pointed.
- Paint the wand the brightest Red you can find. If desired, inscribe the Sigils for the Archangel, Angel and Ruler using either a Wood Burner or Green paint. The correct Hebrew Names and Sigils can be found in the Fire Wand Consecration Ritual.
- Glue the Preseli Bluestone securely to the top of the wand.
