Planetary Wand Construction

The Planetary Wand is used for invoking the Seven Classical Planets.
This wand serves as a general-purpose instrument for directing Planetary Forces.

  1. Obtain a wooden dowel approximately 3/8 inch in diameter and approximately 18 inches long. Ash is recommended.
  2. Measure approximately 3/4 inch from each end of the dowel and mark those points.
  3. Paint one end of the wand White and the opposite end Black. Paint the remaining center portion Violet.
  4. Apply a clear protective finish if desired.
  5. Glue a piece of Preseli Bluestone securely to the White end of the wand. The stone should be slightly larger than the diameter of the wand and should not be pointed.

Information about Preseli Bluestone can be found here.

Optional: Universal Fluid Condenser

Some practitioners choose to place a Universal Fluid Condenser inside the Planetary Wand to strengthen its magical influence.

If you wish to do so, drill a compartment approximately two inches deep into the White end of the wand before painting it. Make the compartment sealable, place the Universal Fluid Condenser inside, and securely close the opening. Complete this step before applying any paint or finish to the wand.
