Water Cup Construction

The Water Cup symbolizes Understanding and the Subconscious. It is the easiest of the elemental tools to construct, as you simply obtain a Cup or Chalice made of natural material and paint or engrave it if desired. Avoid plastic or other artificial substances, and choose a Cup that is durable enough not to break.

Although not required, you may inscribe the Divine Name, along with the sigils of the Archangel, Angel, and Elemental Ruler, upon the Cup for reference purposes. Their inclusion is entirely optional. The appropriate Hebrew Names and Sigils are provided in the
Water Cup Consecration Ritual.

For my own Cup, I used a Blue glass chalice that I purchased from a Dollar Store and engraved the Hebrew and sigils onto it with an electric engraver.

If you choose to paint the Cup instead, it should be Blue, while the Letters and Sigils, if you decide to include them, should be Orange.

When the Cup is complete, wrap it in Blue cloth and put it away when not in use.
